Skills

  • Diesel technology degree or equivalent experience with heavy-duty trucks
  • Familiarity with vehicle computer electronics systems
  • Ability to perform repairs and preventive maintenance services
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance services and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
  • Utilize fleet maintenance software for documentation
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean work area
  • Assist senior mechanics in project completion
  • Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience on heavy-duty trucks
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the position
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

  • Diesel technology degree (preferred but not required)
