Skills

  • Strong driving skills with a focus on safety
  • Ability to perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with Dispatch and Route Managers
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer requests and issues

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a heavy-duty truck on designated routes
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Report unsafe situations or service calls to Route Manager or Dispatch
  • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiencies
  • Follow route assignments and complete all necessary documentation
  • Ensure customer locations are clean and free of debris after service

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years previous experience in a driver position
  • Acceptable driving record required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
