Description

As a Heavy-Duty Truck Driver, you will safely operate a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on designated routes. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe vehicle while adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations. You will work closely with Route Managers to enhance route efficiencies and ensure the satisfaction of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA and DOT requirements
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle
• Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to Route Manager
• Participate in scheduled training and meetings
• Work collaboratively with Route Managers to enhance route efficiency
• Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Route Manager
• Ensure that containers are positioned correctly and left clean
• Document all route activities as required

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Drivers License with an air-brake endorsement
