  • Proficient in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
  • Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
  • Ability to interpret vehicle computer electronic systems
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose issues in vehicles, utilizing established procedures
  • Estimate repair costs and requisition necessary parts
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain compliance with standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Assist senior mechanics on project work as needed

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of relevant work experience in heavy-duty truck repair
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without accommodations
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical
