We are seeking experienced Equipment Operators proficient in operating skid-steers, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, drill rigs, and cranes for a traveling position across several states, including Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct oneself in a positive manner that promotes Cobalt Civil
  • Work under the direct supervision of General Foreman, Foreman, or Lead Man
  • Become knowledgeable of all safety policies and procedures
  • Take an active role in onsite safety planning and implementation of safety standards
  • Report all incidents and near misses to direct reports
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work site and equipment
  • Carry out pre-trip inspections on equipment
  • Guarantee safe operation of equipment, adhering to spotter policies and safety distances

Qualifications

  • Class A CDL preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with skid loader, excavator, front-end loader, and/or bulldozer preferred
  • Willingness to work in the field outside of equipment
  • Ability to travel as required
