  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair
  • Proficiency in working with heavy machinery
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
  • Familiarity with modern maintenance practices and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct repair and maintenance of heavy machinery and mechanical equipment
  • Observe mechanical devices in operation to diagnose issues
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts
  • Examine parts for imperfections and inspect used parts for dimensional changes
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
  • Repair or replace defective parts and install special components
  • Lubricate and clean parts and test device performance
  • Operate metalworking tools to make and repair parts
  • Coordinate purchase orders for necessary parts and machines

Qualifications

  • Four years of relevant experience in mechanical repair
