Skills

• ASCP HT or ASCP HTL certification preferred
• Proficiency in histological techniques and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue samples for diagnostic evaluation
• Perform quality control procedures on histological specimens
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to deliver accurate results

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Histology Technician preferred
• Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Education Requirements Credential Category

• ASCP HT or ASCP HTL certification preferred

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a histology laboratory setting preferred
