Skills

  • ASCP HT or HTL certification preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with pathology services and laboratory procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process tissue samples for diagnostic purposes
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of laboratory results
  • Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies

Qualifications

  • Relevant certification (ASCP HT or HTL preferred)
  • Experience in a laboratory setting is an advantage

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Certification from a recognized body (ASCP HT or HTL preferred)

Experience Requirements

  • Experience working as a histotechnologist or in a similar role is preferred.
