Skills

  • ASCP HT or HTL certification preferred
  • Strong technical expertise in histotechnology
  • Attention to detail and precision in laboratory practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform histological procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of results
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces
  • Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to provide excellent diagnostic services

Qualifications

  • Certification as Histotechnologist (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) by ASCP preferred
  • Experience in a histology laboratory setting
  • Strong communication and analytical skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Relevant certifications and licenses as per industry standards

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • ASCP HT or HTL certification preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Previous experience in histotechnology or related laboratory roles is preferred
