Skills

• Strong caregiving skills with empathy and patience
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Familiarity with medical equipment and devices, such as hoyer lifts
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with transportation to and from appointments, grocery shopping, and community events
• Deliver medication reminders
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
• Assist with medical equipment and devices as needed

Qualifications

• A minimum of ONE YEAR patient care experience under nurse supervision
• Ability to pass a background check and 12 panel drug screen (THC is NOT disqualifying)
• Must have a valid driver’s license, transportation, and the ability to travel up to 30 minutes for shifts

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Certification in a relevant caregiving field is a plus

Experience Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant patient care experience under nurse supervision
