Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall management and performance of hospice operations
- Lead branch operations with accountability for staffing, hiring, budgets, and day-to-day execution
- Develop and manage the annual budget, while monitoring expenditures and financial performance
- Analyze business volume, market conditions, competition, service mix, and operational costs
- Drive growth by expanding new and existing referral and client relationships
- Partner with recruiting and leadership to attract, hire, and retain top talent
- Work closely with clinical leadership on intake activity, patient needs, and operational execution
- Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable federal and state regulations
- Help build and maintain a strong branch culture focused on performance, service, and stability
Qualifications
- Must have hospice experience
- Must be local to the Houston, TX market
- Must have strong local market knowledge and established contacts
- Minimum 3–5 years of hospice operations management experience
- Experience with budget development, financial oversight, and expense management
- Broad understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, operational, strategic, and managerial ability

Education Requirements
- Relevant degree in health care administration, business management, or a related field
