Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual, business, and trust & estate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with clients and team members on income tax planning and special projects
  • Conduct final reviews of tax returns, ensuring accuracy before submission
  • Research and resolve complex tax and accounting issues as they arise
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service
  • Assist and represent clients in IRS, state, and other regulatory audits or requests
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and federal/state tax regulations

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and research, with a focus on income tax returns preferred
  • 1+ year of experience signing off on final tax returns
  • Active CPA or EA certification required
  • Proficiency in tax and accounting software (Lacerte, QuickBooks preferred), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and Adobe

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or EA (Enrolled Agent) required

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in tax preparation and research
  • Proven experience in preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
