Compensation and Benefits

• \(110,000 - \)125,000 per year, starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience.

Skills

• Current and unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Valid CA Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of individual development, human behavior, and the influence of culture on healthcare.
• Knowledge of state and federal homecare regulatory guidelines (preferred).
• Experience in home healthcare (highly preferred).
• Experience with high-acuity patients (a plus).
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team (highly desired).
• Case Management fundamentals (highly desired).
• Self-direction, empathy, and critical thinking skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Case Manager to provide skilled SLP services to patients in their homes.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and fluency disorders.
• Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and techniques.
• Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs are met.
• Collaborate as a valuable member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Valid CA Driver’s License.

Education Requirements

• Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Professional License.

Experience Requirements

• Experience in home healthcare (highly preferred).
• Experience working with high-acuity patients is a plus.
