Description

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN will provide specialized care to critically ill patients requiring complex assessments and high-intensity therapies. This role is critical within the healthcare team, where ICU Nurses deliver life-sustaining care with expertise and compassion. The position is a 13-week contract at Saint Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ.

Skills

• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, Basic Arrhythmia, and IV

• Neuro experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Perform complex assessments and monitor patient conditions continuously
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to telemetry as needed

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey
• Experience in ICU nursing preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills in critical care nursing

Education Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
