Skills

• Master’s degree in a human services field (allowing for diagnosis)
• License eligibility or independent licensure
• MA CANS certification (required before start date)
• Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to engage youth and families in therapy
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide family therapy in a home-based (outreach) setting
• Conduct comprehensive, home-based assessments, including the CANS
• Develop treatment plan goals in collaboration with the family and team members
• Partner with the IHT Therapeutic Training and Support worker to implement treatment strategies
• Provide safety planning, crisis management, intervention, and support
• Offer support to youth and families in community settings like schools, hospitals, and clinics
• Maintain consistent communication with all team members
• Provide after-hours on-call support on a rotating basis
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to assess and diagnose using DSM-5 criteria
• Commitment to working with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Experience leading discussions about cultural differences

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree in a human services field
