Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
  • Basic understanding of general mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating assemblies)
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting and rebuilding various types of pumps (centrifugal, diaphragm, piston)
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators)
  • Strong ability to work in a team setting and as a self-starter
  • Capability to multitask effectively
  • Must possess own hand tools and maintain them

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial production machinery and supporting equipment
  • Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, and rebuild equipment as necessary
  • Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, shop cranes, scissor lifts, and articulating man lifts
  • Read and interpret safety and work instructions to ensure compliance with required specifications

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category
Technical diploma or certification in a related field preferred

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining production machinery
