Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Actively engage in cold calling and utilize various outreach strategies to connect with new clients
  • Sales Material Creation: Develop compelling sales presentations, brochures, product data sheets, and other marketing materials
  • Customer Database Management: Keep meticulous records of customer interactions, sales trends, and prospective leads
  • Schedule Optimization: Effectively manage the VP’s calendar, ensuring meetings and appointments are organized efficiently
  • Meeting Management: Oversee meeting logistics, set agendas, and coordinate details to ensure seamless operations
  • Communication Oversight: Manage the VP’s correspondence, handling emails and other communication channels with professionalism
  • Travel Planning: Arrange and coordinate travel itineraries for the VP as needed
  • Query Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and knowledgeable responses
  • Order Processing Support: Assist customers with their orders, ensuring accuracy in processing and tracking
  • Issue Management: Proactively address and resolve customer concerns, upholding the highest standards of service
  • Rebate Application Assistance: Guide customers through the rebate application process for our products and services
  • Invoice Generation: Create accurate and timely invoices for customer billing
  • Packing Slip Preparation: Oversee the creation of detailed packing slips for shipments
  • Payment Tracking: Monitor incoming payments and diligently follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Customer Satisfaction: Engage with customers post-sale to ensure complete satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships
  • Feedback Collection: Actively seek out and compile customer feedback to continually enhance our service quality
  • Opportunity Identification: Explore opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and securing referrals

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in sales support or administrative roles, preferably within the lighting industry
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
