This position involves overseeing the placement of students with homestay families and providing ongoing support throughout their stay. This is a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time as our network grows.

Fluent in English (both spoken and written); multilingualism is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of cultural awareness

Capable of handling and resolving conflicts in a calm and professional manner
Familiarity with local immigration laws and regulations related to housing for international students
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
Reliable transportation for conducting home visits
Responsibilities
Facilitate and manage the placement process for incoming international students with homestay families
Recruit, screen, and train potential homestay families to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students
Conduct regular visits to homestay families to monitor student well-being and address any concerns
Mediate and resolve any issues that may arise between homestay families and students, offering support and guidance as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of homestay families and students, including housing contracts and emergency contact information
Collaborate closely with the academic team to ensure smooth integration of homestay students into the language program
Work with the admissions team to coordinate timely arrivals and departures of homestay students
Provide orientation sessions for new homestay families and students, offering insights into cultural and communication differences
Plan and organize cultural activities and events for homestay students to enrich their experience in the community
Qualifications
