Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of IT sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with CRM and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Highly driven and motivated to achieve success
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and adaptability to changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in an unscripted environment
  • Familiarity with major enterprise IT and cybersecurity brands

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Source IT products and develop competitive quotes
  • Become an expert on partner vendors and provide valuable product recommendations
  • Research and price new products, identifying new vendor opportunities
  • Negotiate favorable pricing and delivery terms with vendors
  • Advise customers on suitable contracts and funding vehicles
  • Build strong relationships to foster repeat business
  • Negotiate renewal terms with new and existing suppliers to maximize margins
  • Identify and assess potential new vendor partnerships
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners, reinforcing value propositions
  • Engage in deal strategy and negotiation
  • Actively log all sales activities
  • Track all sales activities and opportunities
  • Report on daily, weekly, and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize CRM to its fullest potential

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of IT sales experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with CRM and MS Office
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of IT sales experience
  • Experience working with major IT distributors is a plus
  • Familiarity with US federal IT procurement contracts is a bonus
