Description

The IT Security Architect will play a crucial role in assisting and assessing the CWIS for the NC DHHS - Privacy and Security Office (PSO). This position requires a strong understanding of security principles, including secure coding practices, vulnerability management, threat modeling, and risk assessment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes (preferably Redhat OpenShift). Additionally, you will demonstrate expertise in securing containerized environments and integrating security into container workflows. Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements such as HIPAA and PCI DSS, along with experience in implementing controls to meet these standards, is essential.
