The IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Manager plays a critical role in the Internal Audit/SOX department, reporting to the Senior Director of Internal Audit and SOX. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter to influence IT practices across the organization. The primary focus is to manage the IT SOX program, ensuring the timely execution of the SOX program while collaborating with various IT stakeholders and supporting process improvement initiatives.

Skills

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of related experience in IT audit, IT operations, IT SOX programs, or consulting.
• Experience with FinTech or SaaS companies.
• Big 4 Public Accounting or Consulting experience preferred.
• CISA or CIA certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Effective communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support IT Compliance efforts around IT General Controls (ITGCs) and IT Application Controls (ITACs).
• Develop and maintain process narratives, Risk Control Matrices, and data flow diagrams.
• Manage the annual SOX plan and ensure timely execution of key activities.
• Perform annual IT scoping/risk assessment.
• Evaluate new systems or process changes for potential risks.
• Create test plans and perform SOX testing of key controls.
• Lead quarterly management certifications and coordinate SOX activities with external auditors.
• Monitor and support management’s remediation efforts for control deficiencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in IT audit or compliance.
• Familiarity with US GAAP, SOX requirements, and COSO framework.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments.
