Monarch NC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our Residential Services team in Mount Gilead, NC. We provide trauma-informed, person-centered care that empowers individuals to achieve their goals, build independence, and live with dignity. Work Schedule: ***Every other weekend: Saturday and Sunday (7am-7pm) What You’ll Do: As a DSP, you’ll support adults with I/DD in their daily routines and personal growth. You’ll work in a team-based environment with a 1:3 staff-to-resident ratio, ensuring quality care and attention. Key Responsibilities: ***Administer medications ***Assist with personal care and hygiene ***Prepare and serve meals (including hand-feeding when needed) ***Provide transportation to appointments ***Maintain a clean and safe living environment ***Complete daily documentation and charting ***Engage individuals in meaningful activities and goal-setting Note: Overnight shifts require staying awake and conducting wellness checks every 15 minutes. What You’ll Need: ***High School Diploma or GED ***Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with I/DD, mental health challenges, or substance use disorders ***Valid Driver’s License Why Join Monarch NC?
