Join our thriving Marin County Architectural Design and Planning firm as a Junior Architectural Designer / Architectural Job Captain. This role is integral to our growing team, specializing in a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on responsibilities that foster both professional and creative growth.

You may work from our offices located in Kentfield or Napa, CA, or remotely from your home office. Our projects include high-end residential homes in Napa and Marin, along with commercial endeavors featuring partnerships with Restoration Hardware and Serena & Lily, as well as net-zero energy-efficient homes adhering to Passive House principles.

Compensation and Benefits

Skills

  • Good knowledge of architectural design and drafting principles
  • Proficient in Vectorworks, Sketchup, Photoshop, and Macintosh OS (preferred)
  • Ability to coordinate projects effectively

  • Assist in architectural design and project coordination for residential projects
  • Collaborate with team members on diverse project types
  • Engage in the design process with clients, ensuring their needs are met

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred (equivalent architectural industry work experience may be considered)
  • 1+ years of architectural industry work experience preferred
  • Previous experience in architectural design and project coordination for residential projects preferred
  • Must be able to take on a full-time position

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture preferred
