We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their accounting skills in a dynamic environment. The Junior Staff Accountant will assist in various accounting functions, including account analysis, budgeting, and regulatory reporting, while gaining hands-on experience with financial software and industry standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports. Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate records of financial transactions. Support budgeting processes by gathering data and preparing forecasts. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with SOX regulations. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for data entry and financial reporting. Collaborate with team members on various projects related to wills, trusts, and estate law as needed. Prepare documentation for regulatory reporting requirements. Assist in the month-end close process by preparing journal entries related to debits and credits. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with accounting principles and practices, including budgeting and account analysis. Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks or Xero is a plus. Knowledge of SOX compliance standards is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
