Lab Technician needs 5+ years’ experience Lab Technician needs:  FDNY C-14 Certificate of Fitness  DOT, RCRA, IATA certifications  Experience in aliquoting  Understands lab safety, protocol, requirements  Experience shipping and receiving lab samples and consumables  Research Lab environment  Associate’s degree Lab Technician duties: • Handling and preparing samples for testing. • Maintaining and documenting accurate records. Receive, unload, unpack, and inspect all laboratory deliveries. • Manage lab inventory logistics in the laboratory/stockrooms as they arrive according to departments. • Report damages or shortages to supervisors. • Match shipments to their associated requestor and enter receiving data in purchase request database. • Monitor laboratory inventory levels daily. • Maintain HSE compliance of all receiving areas. • Assist with outgoing lab shipments
