Description

As an essential part of our team, you will report to the Gas Operations Manager and be responsible for the operation and maintenance of landfill gas collection and control systems (GCCS). This involves the management of a network of extraction points known as wells, interconnected via piping. The collected gas is transported using conveyance equipment, ensuring compliance with various State and Federal environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Properly operate and maintain GCCS for regulatory compliance and performance optimization
  • Calibrate and maintain electronic data collection devices
  • Collect and manage data from wellfield extraction and monitoring locations
  • Implement preventative maintenance plans
  • Operate and maintain liquid management system pumps
  • Perform wellfield valve/vacuum adjustments
  • Maintain piping materials using PVC or HDPE
  • Follow job-related health and safety requirements
  • Be available for on-call response to GCCS malfunctions

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required
