We are seeking a Central Office Telecom Equipment Installation Technician IV (Lead) to join our team.

Compensation and Benefits

Skills

  • Experience leading technicians and performing responsibilities such as training and quality verification.
  • Proficient in installation standards, especially AT&T TP77350.
  • Knowledge of fiber optic cable and AC/DC power installation and testing practices.
  • Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft programs, IOS, and/or Android applications.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain telecommunication equipment for various carriers, including fiber and transport equipment.
  • Lead projects with lower-level technicians and perform on-site physical audits.
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain documentation related to tasks.
  • Verify and update connectivity records and create diagrams in Excel.
  • Interface with customers and provide updates on job status.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

  • Must be based in the USA.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent related experience considered.
  • Associates Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Driver’s License (required).
  • Work authorization (required).
  • Minimum of five years of central office equipment installation experience.

High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

  • 2 or more years of leading technicians and performing responsibilities in the telecom field.
  • Experience with major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and others.
  • Familiarity with transport equipment and central office wiring and installation.
