VCA MidWest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center is Nebraska’s only full-time, state-of-the-art specialty and emergency hospital. We are expanding and seeking to add two Lead Licensed Veterinary Technicians to our Emergency & Critical Care team. Our facility features a diverse caseload and advanced medical technologies, ensuring exceptional care for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the teaching and training of junior staff members

Qualifications

  • State of Nebraska Veterinary Technology License required
  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Passion for veterinary medicine and patient care
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Veterinary Technology from an accredited program

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-2 years in a veterinary technician role
  • Experience in emergency and critical care settings preferred
