Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to patients ages 5 and up, both in person and virtually.
  • Utilize various therapeutic modalities to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Work independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
  • Utilize your extensive knowledge of the DSM-5-TR to provide diagnoses and develop care plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, effectively communicate clinical impressions, and assess strengths, barriers, and psychological needs.
  • Interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including determining appropriate levels of care.
  • Efficiently document within an electronic health record and conduct telehealth visits.

Qualifications

  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
  • A passion for working with underserved populations.
  • Proficient knowledge of DSM-5-TR.
  • Strong collaboration skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Education Requirements

  • Relevant degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field.

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Required licensure as LCSW or LPC.

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in providing mental health services in clinical settings.
  • Experience working with underserved populations is preferred.
