Behavioral Health Connections- Atlanta, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dynamic and talented Assessment Team Member. This position requires a Fully Licensed LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and is available in Full Time, Part Time, and PRN formats. The Assessment Team Evaluator provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services. Tele-therapy services may also be provided for clients as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals
  • Recommend appropriate levels of treatment based on assessments
  • Triage patients to suitable services
  • Provide tele-therapy services for clients as assigned

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience providing individual, group, and family therapy/counseling
  • Experience in mobile assessments preferred

Education Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Current license in the State of Georgia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Current CPR certification, if required by a customer hospital
  • Valid driver’s license

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in therapy/counseling
  • Mobile assessment experience is preferred
