We are seeking a Licensed Land Surveyor, P.L.S. for an office surveying role in our well-established Northern California Land Surveying, Land Planning, and Civil Engineering Consulting firm. This position is critical to the success of our firm, as our land survey team provides essential support to our extensive Civil Land Development services. Skills

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in California
  • Minimum of 5 years of land surveying experience in the land development industry
  • Knowledge of boundary and topographic surveys
  • Experience with ALTA surveys, Final Maps, Parcel Maps, and Record-of-Surveys
  • Proficiency in GPS/field work and office work
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare boundary and topographic surveys
  • Coordinate with clients and project managers
  • Supervise field crew for necessary surveys
  • Prepare documents such as ALTA surveys, Final Maps, and Parcel Maps
  • Liaise with other professionals to ensure project success

Qualifications

  • Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (P.L.S.) in California
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the land development industry
  • Proven ability to prepare and manage land surveying documents
  • Strong coordination skills with clients and project managers

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Professional Land Surveyor License (P.L.S.) in California

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, specifically in land development
