  • Strong knowledge of dual diagnosis counseling, addictions, family therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring a minimum of 25 sessions per week
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Offer crisis intervention and support, connecting clients with essential community resources
  • Provide therapeutic case management, coordinating psychiatric and medical interventions as needed
  • Facilitate and organize group therapy sessions and clinical treatment programs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conferences, and staff training
  • Collaborate with team members to establish client strengths and needs
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of client medical records to ensure adherence to standards of care
  • Complete treatment plan reviews and updates for all active clients
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and services

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology)
  • Valid licensure (LMSW, LCPC, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LPC)
  • Minimum of 2 years of counseling experience in a mental health or chemical dependence treatment setting
  • Knowledge of psychiatry, psychology, pharmacology, and medical terminology
