Responsibilities

• Provide individual and/or group mental health counseling
• Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including intakes, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Advocate for clients’ needs, including medication management and referrals to appropriate services
• Offer crisis intervention and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, clinical mental health, social work, or a related field
• Licensure in Maryland (Required):
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LGPC or LCPC)
  • Licensed Social Worker (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C)
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LGMFT or LCMFT)
  • Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LGADC or LCADC)

Education Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, clinical mental health, social work, or a related field

Education Requirements Credential Category

• Licensed Mental Health Professional

Experience Requirements

At least one (1) year of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting
