We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide hands-on patient care, clinical support, and administrative assistance to ensure a smooth and high-quality healthcare experience for patients. You will work closely with providers, nurses, pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals to support patient treatment and recovery.

This position may include remote work and is subject to all CMS vaccine mandates.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures by gathering medical history, vital signs, medications, and allergy information
  • Administer medications, injections, and wound care, and assist with procedures such as EKGs and GYN exams
  • Monitor and report any adverse reactions to medications or treatments
  • Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and chronic disease management
  • Assist with medication refills through patient assistance programs
  • Collect and process lab samples and perform routine lab tests
  • Act as a bridge between patients and providers to ensure seamless communication and care coordination
  • Assist with scheduling tests, treatments, and referrals
  • Maintain exam rooms, medical equipment, and clinical supplies to ensure everything is stocked and up to date
  • Track and document immunizations, drug samples, and vaccine inventory
  • Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
  • Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and meaningful use criteria
  • Participate in quality assurance programs, professional development, and emergency preparedness training
  • Help maintain compliance with laboratory regulations and guidelines
  • Monitor and document patient progress and test results

Qualifications

  • LPN licensure in the state of Georgia
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Education Requirements

  • Completed LPN program from an accredited institution
