Description

We are seeking a Private Investigator in the San Jose area who is licensed in California to perform surveillance work on worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short-term disability claims. TIG Risk Services is a national investigative firm based out of Destin, Florida, servicing the insurance, government, and legal communities for 23 years. We perform surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations related to various claims.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay starts at $40+/hr.

Skills

• Minimum of two years of surveillance experience
• Experience performing SIU related functions, such as taking statements and conducting scene inspections
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in a variety of environments
• Comfort with the use of pretext investigations
• Active PI License in California

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance on various types of claims
• Perform activity checks and background investigations
• Take statements and conduct scene inspections
• Write detailed reports of findings
• Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines in investigations

Qualifications

• Licensed Private Investigator in California
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in surveillance or related fields
• Strong communication and report writing skills
