We are seeking a Private Investigator in the Tulare area who is licensed in California to perform surveillance work on worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short-term disability claims. TIG Risk Services is a national investigative firm based out of Destin, Florida, servicing the insurance, government, and legal communities for 23 years. We conduct surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations on various claims.

Skills

• Minimum of two years surveillance experience
• Experience in SIU related functions, such as taking statements and scene inspections
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in various environments
• Comfortable with pretext investigations

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance related to worker’s compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims
• Perform background investigations and activity checks
• Take statements and conduct scene inspections as needed
• Prepare detailed reports of findings
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions and investigations

Qualifications

• Active PI License in California
• Proven experience in surveillance and investigative work
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Education Requirements

• Relevant education in criminal justice or a related field is preferred but not required

• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in criminal justice is a plus
