Description

We are seeking a Private Investigator in the Kansas City area who is licensed in Kansas and/or Missouri to perform surveillance work on worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short-term disability claims. TIG Risk Services is a national investigative firm based out of Destin, Florida, servicing the insurance, government, and legal communities for 23 years. Our work includes surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations on various claims.

Skills

• Minimum of two years surveillance experience
• Experience performing SIU related functions, including taking statements and conducting scene inspections
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in various environments
• Comfortable with the use of pretext investigations

Responsibilities

• Perform surveillance for various insurance claims, including worker’s compensation and liability claims
• Conduct activity checks and background investigations
• Write detailed reports on findings and submit them in a timely manner
• Collaborate with team members to achieve investigative goals

Qualifications

• Active Private Investigator License in Kansas and/or Missouri
• Strong analytical and observational skills
• Proven ability to work independently and in high-pressure situations

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in criminal justice or a related field is a plus
