We are seeking a Private Investigator in the White Plains area who is licensed in New York to perform surveillance work on worker’s compensation, auto liability, general liability, and long and short-term disability claims. TIG Risk Services is a national investigative firm based out of Destin, Florida, servicing the insurance, government, and legal communities for 23 years. We perform surveillance, activity checks, and background investigations on various claims.

Skills

• Minimum of two years surveillance experience
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform stationary and mobile surveillance in various environments
• Comfort with the use of pretext investigations
• Experience performing SIU related functions, including taking statements and scene inspections

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance for worker’s compensation, auto liability, and general liability claims
• Perform activity checks and background investigations
• Document findings in detailed reports
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Active Private Investigator License in New York
• Proven experience in surveillance and SIU functions

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in investigations are preferred, but not required
