Linux Embedded Software Engineer/Architect requires: • Embedded software development, Yocto Project, FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Digital Predistortion, DSP, FPGA, NPU • 3+ years developing embedded software and architecture within an aerospace, defense, or satellite communications industry. • BS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Experience with Yocto Project and real time operation systems such as Free RTOS, VxWorks, etc.. E • Experience with software for power electronics, control systems, and RF applications. • AI, GPUs, FPGAs, and NPU experiences is preferred. • Knowledge of digital predistortion, DSP and adaptive control techniques is also preferred. • 3+ years of hands on experience designing, developing, and delivering embedded software for mission critical RF and power electronics systems (SSPAs/BUCs) across ground, airborne, and space applications — including producing software architectures, technical specifications, real time control algorithms, device level software, and taking features from prototype to production/qualification. • Several years leading software architecture reviews, risk assessments, verification & validation, and qualification/testing activities for space/airborne systems — responsible for demonstrating performance, reliability, EMI/EMC and environmental compliance and producing the engineering artifacts needed for production/qualification. • Experience driving cross functional engineering work: translating customer/system requirements into embedded software requirements and designs, supporting proposals and customer presentations, and mentoring or technically leading small engineering teams through full software lifecycle deliveries.
