This Los Angeles office has an immediate opening for an associate with 3+ years of litigation experience in California. Prior work in product liability, toxic tort, or environmental litigation is advantageous, but the position is open to other litigators willing to focus on these areas. Excellent writing skills, academic credentials, and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and investigate litigation matters
• Develop legal arguments, including researching applicable case law
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including arguing and defending motions, taking and defending depositions, and participation at trial
• Prepare and review motions, briefs, and discovery materials
• Report to partners and clients regarding case status

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience in California
• Prior experience in product liability, toxic tort, or environmental litigation is a plus
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills

Education Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
