Responsibilities

  • Perform all necessary procedures related to breast imaging
  • Provide care in alignment with departmental policies at the Breast Care Center and off-site locations
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards in patient service through quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
  • At least one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Current AART certification and Texas Department of Health certification
  • Certification in mammography
  • CPR certification
  • American Cancer Society Certified Breast Self-Exam Instructor

Education Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
