The Manager of Space & Assortment Analytics will manage a team of Schematic Analysts while providing strategic planogram analytical support for clients and customers. This role demands excellent communication, motivation, and problem-solving skills. Building relationships with retailer personnel is essential to maximize ROI on retailer-facing investments. The analytics work requires an expert understanding of space management technology, the ability to apply available information, and creating solutions for clients using appropriate tools.

  • Expertise in space management technology
  • Proficient in IRI and Nielsen data platforms
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to think strategically and solve problems
  • Experience in Category Management principles and practices

Responsibilities

  • Hire, develop, and retain talent by employing enterprise processes and resources
  • Train, mentor, and motivate a team of Schematic Analysts
  • Communicate with customer leadership regarding resource allocation
  • Assist on-site resources with assortment and planogram review processes
  • Ensure quality assurance on work done by Schematic Analysts
  • Utilize data from planogram tools to identify solutions and opportunities
  • Seek out revenue opportunities and develop presentations to pitch and close billable opportunities

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required in Computer Science or Data Management
  • 5+ years of retail experience with mastery of space management technology
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Confidence working with clients, customers, and internal leadership
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving aptitude

Education Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

Education Requirements Credential Category

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or related field

Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant retail experience
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with syndicated data platforms and Category Management principles
