Responsibilities

  • Sort and grade materials
  • Operate can densifier and other equipment
  • Maintain inventory records and document materials received or shipped
  • Ensure proper feeding of materials onto conveyors
  • Monitor machine performance and address downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Load and unload materials into trailers and railcars
  • Inspect and grade incoming wastepaper
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Six (6) months of previous work experience
  • Forklift certification required
  • No formal education required
