Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (required)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (required)
  • Understanding of chronic care management processes (preferred)
  • Fluency in English and additional languages (Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese/Russian) (preferred)
  • Strong customer service mindset for internal and external clients (required)
  • Medical Assistant and/or Medical Scribe Certification (required)
  • Proficiency in computer software navigation, data entry, and data cleansing
  • Fundamental knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides or similar applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Flexible and adaptable nature, thriving in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide practice support, including contacting members, caregivers, and care team members as directed
  • Coordinate care for patients within the practice
  • Perform accurate data entry within the electronic medical record as appropriate
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy
  • Answer phones with a customer service orientation
  • Schedule patient visits using mapping software
  • Provide additional administrative support as needed

Qualifications

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the designated service area
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle
  • Ability to maintain a quiet workspace for remote work where patient-related conversations can happen in private
