Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (required)
- Knowledge of medical terminology (required)
- Understanding of chronic care management processes (preferred)
- Fluency in English and additional languages (Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese/Russian) (preferred)
- Strong customer service mindset for internal and external clients (required)
- Medical Assistant and/or Medical Scribe Certification (required)
- Proficiency in computer software navigation, data entry, and data cleansing
- Fundamental knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides or similar applications
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Flexible and adaptable nature, thriving in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Provide practice support, including contacting members, caregivers, and care team members as directed
- Coordinate care for patients within the practice
- Perform accurate data entry within the electronic medical record as appropriate
- Ensure data quality and accuracy
- Answer phones with a customer service orientation
- Schedule patient visits using mapping software
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the designated service area
- Valid driver’s license and proof of liability and property damage insurance on vehicle
- Ability to maintain a quiet workspace for remote work where patient-related conversations can happen in private
