Skills

• Solid understanding of medical billing and coding principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
• Exceptional multitasking and time management skills.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the revenue cycle process.
• Typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute.

Responsibilities

• Oversee revenue cycle performance for assigned medical practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact, fostering strong client relationships.
• Accurately report and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of the revenue cycle for each clinic.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the revenue cycle.
• Manage the creation and submission of medical claims, ensuring correct coding.
• Perform claim status audits and manage insurance denials.
• Generate and analyze month-end reports.

Qualifications

• Certifications or degrees in medical billing and/or medical coding are highly preferred.
• 1-3 years of proven experience in medical billing and coding.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks is a strong plus.
• Previous experience in medical practice or account management is highly desirable.
