Skills

  • Certification through ASCP, AMT, or NCA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, or MLT
  • Ability to work in various laboratory departments including chemistry, hematology, blood bank/transfusion services, and microbiology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyses in accordance with established protocols
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the laboratory
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technology and practices

Qualifications

  • AS Degree or BS Degree (preferred) in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field
  • Certification through ASCP, AMT, or NCA as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, Medical Technologist, or MLT (specialty licenses may also be considered)
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field

Experience Requirements
