Description

In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to metalworking and fabrication. Duties include measuring and cutting various steel parts, grinding and painting metal for a smooth finish, drilling and punching holes in steel parts, and executing welding and plasma/torch cutting. You will also operate forklifts to move raw and finished materials, drive company trucks with trailers for parts delivery, and handle material and supplies pick-up.

Skills

• Valid driver’s license with the ability to tow and maneuver a 40’ trailer
• Familiarity with operating a forklift
• Ability to maintain safety, quality control, production efficiency, and shop cleanliness
• Capacity to lift 30+ pounds
• Willingness to learn proper usage of shop equipment and tools
• OSHA 10 or 30 and/or welding certifications are a major plus
• Experience in painting, welding, fitting, and layout is a major plus
