Skills

• Knowledge of operations, operating procedures, and equipment in metallurgical processes

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for improvements in the Melt Shop
• Implement and support process improvement action plans
• Provide cost estimates on process improvement projects
• Support and participate in CAPEX projects
• Perform a full range of process control duties in the Melt Shop and Electric Arc Furnace, including material movement and troubleshooting

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Metallurgical Engineering, or related experience
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
