We are an award-winning Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation Consulting firm actively seeking a Mid Level Environmental Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist for our offices in San Diego, CA, or Walnut Creek, CA. The successful candidate will work in both field and office environments to support environmental site assessment, remediation, and construction projects. Our team delivers services from conceptual planning to investigation, data analysis, technology testing, design, and construction, ensuring compliance with all security protocols at active DoD installations.

Skills

  • Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA, and environmental regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to critically think, problem solve, and make decisions in the field
  • Team player capable of working independently

Responsibilities

  • Prepare environmental project documents including work plans and health and safety plans
  • Conduct field work, including sampling and site characterization
  • Supervise subcontractors and field crew
  • Interpret complex technical data and prepare reports
  • Communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related Environmental Science field with 5 years of relevant experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience
  • Ability to pass Federal Background Check and maintain an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to become a registered professional (PG, PE) is preferred
  • Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is preferred

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or related Environmental Science field

Experience Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a geologist, engineer, or scientist
