Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, CAD, and MS Project
  • Understanding of environmental regulations and compliance
  • Hands-on experience with remediation systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of environmental engineering practices and technologies

Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental field activities and oversee remediation systems
  • Evaluate and manage subcontractor/vendor performance
  • Prepare and review work plans, reports, and technical documents
  • Estimate costs for remediation activities
  • Ensure compliance with permits related to air, water, and soil
  • Direct and mentor junior staff
  • Support complex remediation projects with senior oversight
  • Assist in proposal preparation

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental, civil, mechanical, or chemical engineering
  • At least 5 years of experience in the environmental engineering/consulting industry
  • E.I.T. certification required; P.E. registration is a plus
  • Compliance with safety training, including OSHA certifications
  • Experience with environmental project work plans and reports

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental engineering and consulting
